Bungalow model – age-friendly and stylish

Single-storey living, with plenty of light and no compromises.

Bungalow model: single-storey small house with a dark timber façade and a terrace in the garden

The Bungalow model is a small house – compact in footprint but generously laid out, so you have everything you need. It is particularly suited to making use of the remaining building potential on plots that are already built on: as a second dwelling in the garden, as a replacement build or as an upmarket granny annexe – in sustainable timber construction with a high quality of living.

Building today means thinking about tomorrow: a home that will still suit you in thirty years, without stairs becoming a barrier. That is why the Bungalow is designed on a single level, with a modern, light-filled interior and age-friendly planning from the outset. Great design and high quality at an attainable price – that was the benchmark.

Who the Bungalow is for

  • Couples and families looking for a home for life
  • People who want to live independently in an accessible home as they get older
  • People with reduced mobility who need a wheelchair-accessible home of their own
  • Clients who already own a plot and want a fast, predictable construction process
  • People who value sustainable construction – with timber as a renewable material that stores carbon
  • As a replacement build, granny annexe or second dwelling on your own land

Everything on one level

Living, sleeping, bathroom and kitchen are all on one level, without steps or thresholds. Wide doorways and an accessible bathroom make everyday life easier – for couples and families today and for independent living later in life. On request, we can design the Bungalow to be fully wheelchair-accessible, with generous manoeuvring space, a kitchen and washbasin with knee clearance, a roll-in shower and step-free access to the terrace.

Generous and full of light

Large windows and open floor plans bring daylight deep into the house, and the garden becomes an extension of the living room. Timber on the walls and ceilings creates a warm, natural atmosphere – modern in form, timeless in effect.

Fully finished at the factory

The Bungalow is made up of several timber modules that leave the factory fully finished – insulated and clad, with windows plus electrical and plumbing installations – and are joined on site to form the completed house within a few days. This dramatically shortens the build programme and ensures consistently high quality. The basic structure is standardised while the interior remains flexible: you choose the kitchen, bathroom, appliances and finishes to your taste, with selected elements installed on site. Available in S, M and L, with either a flat or gable roof, the Bungalow can be adapted to local planning and building requirements.

Tailored to your plot

The Bungalow is not an off-the-shelf house. Depending on the plot, orientation, slope and local regulations, we adapt the floor plan, façade and building services so the house fits the site – not the other way round.
