Soldanella Design

Our unique designs

Our models are built using modular timber construction, delivered turnkey and assembled on site — available exclusively from us. All models share a modular basic form, but can be individually adapted to your needs or your plot where required.

Frequently asked questions

Everything about the Soldanella Design models.

Fittings, floor plans, permits and structural design — the questions we hear most often before a decision. Can’t find what you’re looking for? We’re happy to take the time to discuss it with you personally.

Can I choose the interior fittings freely?

Yes. The interior fit-out is entirely your choice. We select the flooring, wall cladding, kitchen fronts and worktops, sanitaryware, taps and appliances together with you. You can choose from our curated material combinations or specify your own preferences — from the brand of kitchen appliances to the wood tone of the interior cladding.

Can the floor plans be adapted?

Yes. Floor plans can be customised to suit your needs. Walls can be moved, window and door positions changed, wet areas rearranged or rooms combined. We check every change for structural and building-performance requirements before it is incorporated into the detailed design.

Can a terrace, pergola or carport be planned as well?

Yes. We can also design matching terraces with pergolas and/or carports, tailored to the model, orientation and plot. These additions are included in the building permit application from the outset so that everything can be approved as part of a single process.

What if I like a model but it needs major changes?

If you like a model but it requires major changes, we can switch to a fully custom build at any time. There are no limits to the design — we use the model as a starting point and develop a home that is entirely your own.

Which services does Soldanella provide in Switzerland?

We develop our models specifically for the Swiss market, adapt them to your preferences and local regulations where required, and take care of production, delivery and installation on your plot. The building permit, foundations and utility lines are handled by your architect or one of our partner architectural practices familiar with our modular systems; we provide all the necessary documentation and coordinate closely with the architect. For everything relating to your module, you have a dedicated contact at Soldanella.

Can the required energy compliance documentation be provided for my municipality?

Where required, our models can be adapted to meet the energy compliance requirements of your municipality or canton. Insulation thickness, window performance, building services and heat generation are specified to meet the applicable standards.

Can the structure be adapted to snow loads?

Where required, the structure is adapted to local snow and wind-load requirements so that the models can also be approved in high Alpine locations. We clarify the requirements for your site before the building permit application is submitted.

What sizes and variants are there?

Soldanella Design models are available in several standard sizes, each in a Base and Comfort version. The Comfort version is move-in ready and includes the complete interior fit-out. The configurator shows the available sizes, specification and guide prices.

Which façade and timber options are available?

Several timber species and finishes are available for the façade and interior cladding. The configurator shows the available combinations, and we advise you on which option best suits the location, weather exposure and requirements of your municipality.

What is included in the price?

The prices shown apply to the selected model and version. Site-specific costs such as foundations, utility lines, permit fees, transport and crane work are calculated for each project because they depend on the plot and site servicing. Every item is listed separately in the quotation.
